Mr. Alfie Lockhart - Technician
A graduate veterinary technician, Mr. Lockhart has had over 30 years experience in animal care, and is a valuable member of our veterinary support team. Located at our Tutu office, he is a dedicated professional who watches over your pet from the front desk until your pet goes back home. Mr. Lockhart is experienced in everything from anesthesia, dental treatment, and all phases of pet care to make your pet's hospital stay the best possible.
Mr. Thomas Piper - Vet Assistant
Hailing from Montserrat, Tom has worked in animal health care for 30 years on Montserrat before coming to St. Thomas. Here at the Veterinary Centers of the VI, Tom makes sure each pet gets whatever care, toy, or food it needs to make them feel safe, secure, and comfortable. Even the most scared pet will soon feel at home in his arms, under Tom's watchful eye.
Debbie Orie-Perer - Technician
Debbie first joined our staff after graduation from All Saints School. In the intervening years she has advanced her career as a veterinary technician with training and over 20 years experience in California. Returning home in 2008, Debbie rejoined our staff. She brings with her a wide range of experiences and ideas to help your pet have a successful visit to the Veterinary Centers of the VI.
Agene' Rogers - Technician/Office Mgr
From St. Thomas, Agene' joined our staff after graduation from UVI in 2011. A science major, he has participated in many animal-related research projects across the United States and in the Virgin Islands. He has experience with pets while growing up, and has worked for over a year as a veterinary assistant at Veterinary Centers of the VI. His main joy is pitbulls but he loves all animals and greatly enjoys caring for them and watching them get better. At the Veterinary Centers of the VI Agene' is a valued and dedicated team member, dedicated to the patients, assisting the veterinarian, and making sure each pet gets the care it needs in order to get well and go home soon.
Danny Challenger - Vet Assistant
Growing up on St. Thomas, our three veterinary assistants all work together to make sure each animal gets the care it needs, that it gets the love and hugs and attention that help the medicine work to get your pet better. Our assistants work between both clinics, and have some college experience behind them.
